  • Description: Join us this September as, in honor of National Children’s Cancer Awareness Month, we take to the skies for the 2011 Global Leap for Life to raise money for two important cancer charities. We’re leaping this year for Alex’s Lemonade Stand (www.alexslemonade.org) – the national not-for-profit founded by four year old cancer patient Alex Scott who was determined to raise money to find a cure for cancer by setting up front-yard lemonade stands … and which has, to date, raised nearly $40 million, carrying on Alex’s legacy of hope to find a cure for all children with cancer. In New York, we’re also leaping for Strength for Life (www.strengthforlifeny.org) – a NY-based not-for-profit dedicated to assisting men and women who are living with cancer reclaim their lives by providing a safe and effective exercise program free of charge.
